La planta incorpora una caldera de aceite térmico Mollier de 3 MW diseñada para valorizar subproductos del propio proceso industrial y biomasa externa, lo que permitirá reducir en torno a 2.000 toneladas de CO₂ al año y reforzar la independencia energética de la empresa.

La inauguración contó con la presencia de Leticia García, consejera de Industria, Comercio y Empleo de la Junta de Castilla y León, y Mariano Muñoz, director general de Industria, quienes destacaron el carácter pionero del proyecto y su contribución a la transición energética y a la economía circular en la comunidad.
Con esta puesta en marcha, Bioenergy Ibérica suma un nuevo proyecto industrial de energía renovable en Castilla y León y Tacon Decor avanza en el uso de recursos propios para su suministro térmico.
