Increased efficiency of the drying process

Recudry de Stela

The new solution designed by the German company Stela Laxhuber, with more than 95 years in the drying industry, allows energy savings of between 35 and 55% compared to a conventional belt dryer thanks to the incorporation of heat recovery technologies.

The RecuDry® system separates the conventional belt drying process into two areas: a recovery module and a condensation module.
In the recovery module, the drying air is saturated to an optimal level through circulation and reheating.

Part of this saturated air is introduced into the condensation module to preheat the fresh air. An air-to-air heat exchanger recovers most of the energy used, increasing the overall efficiency of the drying process and helping to reduce emissions.

The Stela Recu-Dry® system can be integrated into existing plants quickly, without taking up much space and cost-effectively. The system has already been installed in plants located in Italy, Germany, Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Poland and Slovakia.
