The agreement includes the joint promotion of projects aimed at producing biomethane from organic waste, mainly of agricultural, livestock and industrial origin, for its subsequent injection into the gas network.
Bioliza will contribute its experience in the development, processing, and technical structuring of the plants. For its part, Pretium Renovables, a firm specializing in the investment and financial structuring of renewable energy projects in Spain, will participate as an investment partner, facilitating the financing and execution of the initiatives.
Andalusia has a high potential for biomethane production due to the availability of raw materials and the ability to connect to gas infrastructure, which places it among the regions with the greatest room for growth in this area.
With this alliance, Bioliza strengthens its portfolio of projects in southern Spain and advances in the commissioning of new renewable gas facilities in the national market.
