The Huesca stage of the traveling exhibition Biomasa en tu Casa It has the collaboration of ECODES and the BioPirineo project, a pilot initiative that seeks to strengthen the environmental, economic and social resilience of the Aragonese Pyrenees by promoting the bioeconomy and the sustainable use of local resources.
Between the December 9 and 17, will have stops in Hecho, Boltaña, Sabiñánigo and Jaca, with the The aim is to bring citizens an immersive and free experience to learn about the operation and advantages of biomass heating, a renewable, local and sustainable solution that is especially relevant in the Pyrenean territory.
Mounted on a 14-meter exhibition semi-trailer, the mobile unit combines interactive models, augmented reality, virtual reality glasses, and real equipment Facilitated by companies associated with AVEBIOM, visitors will be able to discover how solid biofuels (pellets, wood chips, or olive pits) are produced, how modern stoves and boilers work, and how an urban heating network based on biomass is structured.
We want everyone to be able to see, touch, and understand how modern biomass heating works. In a region like the Pyrenees, with significant forest resources and a growing commitment to the bioeconomy, this technology offers real solutions for homes, SMEs, and local councils.

In addition to the visits open to the public, the stage in Huesca will include two free themed sessions, taught inside the mobile unit:
In Made, The session will be held on December 10th. “Use of biomass in the tourism sector: inventory of use and potential in different types of establishments”, which will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Mobile Unit, located in Plaza de San Miguel.
In Boltaña, The session will be held on December 12th. “Heating and cooling networks: priority infrastructure in Aragon”, also from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Mobile Unit, located in front of the Congress Palace

About Biomass in Your Home
“Biomasa en tu Casa”" is an outreach project promoted and developed by AVEBIOM. Its first editions, held in 2015 and 2016, visited 23 Spanish cities and were a resounding success, attracting over 330,000 visitors. It was supported by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE). The main objective was to promote the advantages of using biomass as an energy source for heating and hot water in homes, reducing the existing lack of awareness among the population.".
The new edition 2025–2030 It expands its reach with a traveling and interactive exhibition that will visit 250 municipalities throughout Spain, bringing biomass closer to the public as a renewable, local and affordable alternative that contributes to energy savings, sustainable forest management and the decarbonization of the territory.
