Wood pellets are an important alternative to fossil fuels because they are environmentally friendly, sustainable, and carbon neutral. They are also an extremely smart way to recover waste from wood processing. This is evidenced by the growth in demand for forest biomass of 141,000 tons worldwide in 2018 (+81,000 tons in Europe) compared to the previous year.
Furthermore, with the heated debate on climate change and the new European regulations on plastic packaging in force since 2021, the choice to package it in a paper bag becomes much more than a simple option.
Boga Técnica, as a supplier of automatic bagging lines for the pellet sector, is well aware of this market evolution, and that is why it will be exhibiting, at the ExpoBiomasa 2021 edition, the IGF600 open-mouth bagging machine from its supplier Concetti, equipment capable of producing 600 bags/hour in 15kg format in pre-made ecological paper bags.
The work system is fully automatic from the taking of the sack, weighing, filling and closing of the sacks using a double thread sewing machine, guaranteeing a well-sealed paper bag, sturdy, easy to carry and recyclable.
