The call for papers for the 2024 International Bioenergy Congress has been extended.

Presentacion de ponencias al CIB 24 gases renovables

This year, under the motto «"Renewable gases, the great allies in the defossilization of the Spanish economy,", We want to explore and delve deeper into the fundamental role that renewable gases play in the energy transition and environmental sustainability.

The selection of papers will seek to foster discussion on the most recent and promising developments in the field of renewable gases and their role in the transition to an economy less dependent on fossil fuels.

The congress will address national regulations and aid programs, as well as the current state of international regulations that affect or will affect the sector. It will illustrate the potential of renewable gases in the Spanish market, particularly the use of biomethane for energy generation, vehicle use, the production of other biofuels, and/or self-consumption in the agricultural, livestock, and industrial sectors.

The congress aims to delve deeper into the understanding of raw materials, their availability and logistics; as well as emerging technologies with high growth potential and those already implemented in the market and their results. A topic of great interest will be the potential uses of byproducts derived from biogas generation.
