The scammers impersonated a real, certified company. INplus®, BURPELLET (ES005 Hijos de Tomás Martínez SL), unlawfully using its trademark and commercial data.
This operation demonstrates that fraud is detected, investigated, and prosecuted. The actions of the security forces, in coordination with the certification system, are key to this success. INplus®, has made it possible to identify and remove numerous fraudulent websites, as well as block payment channels used by criminal networks.
From the end of July 2025, AVEBIOM, entity responsible for INplus® In Spain, it has handled 59 cases of impersonation, managing to remove two-thirds of them from the Internet and include the rest in the system's alert mechanisms.

AVEBIOM and INplus® Consumers are advised to purchase pellets only from certified companies, always check the certificate number, and be wary of unusually low prices. The system maintains active verification and reporting channels to protect both consumers and companies in the sector.
