The project aims to take a first step in the digitization of decentralized facilities. To this end, it intends to establish a experimental pilot that demonstrates the feasibility of sensor and IoT systems applicable in small and distributed installations.
The project will focus on an essential component of the facilities: the pellet and wood chip silos and the room where they are housed. Sensor and monitoring systems will be integrated, capable of recording critical variables such as fill level, temperature, humidity, compaction pressure, gas emissions, and the status of ventilation and safety systems.
This data will facilitate remote management of facilities, optimize the logistics planning of supply companies, and allow for anticipating incidents, while reducing the risks of shortages for smaller-scale users located in rural and hard-to-reach areas.
The project will be implemented between 2025 and 2026 and will have the active participation of the company associated with AVEBIOM. REDYTEL IoT, who will contribute his experience in digital solutions for remote monitoring and intelligent equipment management.
This aid program is intended to develop and improve the research and innovation capabilities of the business fabric through support for Innovative Business Groups (AAEEII) in the Community of Castilla y León.
