Biomass in Your Home 2025-2029

 

“Biomass in your Home” It is an educational project designed and promoted by AVEBIOM that seeks to bring to the public the advantages of using biomass as an energy source for heating and hot water in homes.  

The traveling, interactive exhibition for all audiences will tour Spain from October 2025 to March 2030, visiting 250 towns with up to 40,000 inhabitants.

«"Biomass in your Home"» It is a unique opportunity for citizens to discover firsthand how biomass can help them reduce their energy bills and, at the same time, contribute to building a more sustainable energy model in the country.

  • On board a 14-meter semi-trailer.

  • Interactive design with sensors and screens for all ages.

  • Virtual catalog with information on equipment and manufacturers.

OBJECTIVES OF THE EXHIBITION

  • Educate to inform the public about the use of biomass as an energy source.

  • Support the sector facilitating contact between manufacturers and consumers.

  • Promote knowledge on clean technologies and sustainable management.

WHAT WILL THE VISITOR OF `BIOMASS IN YOUR HOME` FIND?

  • Solid biofuels:

    • Pellets (prominent due to their high performance and low environmental impact).

    • Wood chips.

    • Olive pit.

    • Others.

    • Production and quality certifications: ENplus® (pellets) and BIOmasud® (Mediterranean biofuels).

  • State-of-the-art heating equipment:

    • Visualization using Augmented Reality.

    • Interactive model of a heating and cooling network.

    • Virtual Reality about sustainable forest management.
