The event, organized by the CGalician Biomass Luster and the Galician Cluster of the Sports Industry and Welfare will be analyzedto thethe problem energy in the sports sector and solutions and the different ones will be presented lines of public aid in this matter.
Juan Jesús Ramos, technician from AVEBIOM, will present the inventory of use and potential of biomass in public and private swimming pools in Galicia and in Spain.
Something more about 14% of Spain's heated aquatic centers used biomass as an energy source in 2020, but the potential to increase this share is high. The Biomass Observatory, managed by AVEBIOM, has analyzed these large consumers of thermal energy to to delve deeper into the specific possibilities of incorporating biomass as the main renewable energy source for its climate control.
Galicia is one of the autonomous communities with the most biomass-heated aquatic centers in the country and with the greatest potential to continue increasing.
