After developing the Mini Biogas Plant –MPB, an industrial plant for to process between 1 and 3 tons of waste daily, The company has continued its research until it designed an enrichment plant to produce biomethane in combination with the previous one.
According to their website, the concept is aimed at small-scale waste producers whose waste management is costly, or those responsible for managing organic waste in developed or developing countries. In short, consumers of expensive energy who can obtain both economic and environmental benefits from a facility of this type.
After conducting a study of the solutions available on the market in this range, AGF technicians believe that the MPB must meet several objectives, including achieving a stable biogas production of more than 5 Nm3 per m3 of reactor per day and automated operation, except for the feeding of the raw material.
The MPB installation can directly generate electrical and/or thermal energy but, in combination with the enrichment plant – PE3 BM10 – which has also been developed by the engineering firm, it could produce biomethane.
In March 2020, the company stated that it had already assembled the 70% of its first Mini Biogas and Biomethane Plant, the M2PB, and expected to send it to its final location during the month of April, where the work for its placement was already underway.
