Full program of the 18th International Bioenergy Congress and accreditation available

The Congress will take place on the following days October 1st and 2nd, 2025 at the Valladolid Fair, in parallel to 5th Renewable Gas Exhibition, and will bring together more than 50 national and international experts to discuss the role of biogas, biomethane, and renewable hydrogen in a sustainable and competitive economy.

Strategic debates on the present and future of renewable gases

The program includes five round tables which will include representatives from key administrations, companies and organizations in the sector:

  • The state of the sector in Spain (October 1, 11:30)
    With the participation of MOEVE, ENAGÁS Renewables, ENCE, NEDGIA SITRA and PreZero, who will analyze the evolution of biomethane projects and immediate growth expectations.

  • Social responsibility of biogas/biomethane facilities (October 1, 4:30 PM)
    Representatives of AVEBIOM, AEBIG, SEDIGAS, UPA and ASAJA They will discuss how to respond to social concerns surrounding new plants and the importance of acting responsibly and transparently.

  • The role of public administration in the development of biomethane (October 2, 09:30)
    With the participation of MITECO, Junta de Castilla-La Mancha, Junta de Andalucía, Generalitat de Catalunya, Generalitat Valenciana and Junta de Castilla y León, which will put on the table the economic and territorial impact of the new projects.

  • The need for certifications and their applicability (October 2, 12:30)
    SURE, CAAE, Enagás GTS and CNMC They will explain how the certification of biomethane and its by-products is vital for its entry into the market.

  • Importance of the involvement of actors in the value chain (October 2, 4:30 PM)
    With the participation of UPA Segovia, BIOVIC and Institute of Sustainable Processes, highlighting the cooperation between all links in the chain to ensure the success of the projects.

An essential conference for professionals in the sector

The CIB25 is structured in technical presentations, international experiences, success stories and debates on the valorization of digestate, energy self-consumption, technological innovation and the role of green hydrogen in the energy transition.

Meanwhile, the Renewable Gas Exhibition will bring together more than 250 national and international exhibitors with the latest innovations in biogas, biomethane upgrading, green hydrogen and advanced digestate management.
