Key changes introduced by RED III
María Erlemann, senior sustainability expert at SURE, explained the main changes that RED III introduces in sustainability criteria and emissions reduction:

Tools to facilitate complianceSURE is developing specific forms and technical guides to help operators adapt to the new requirements without unnecessary complications.
“The main objective is to facilitate the transition by minimizing administrative burdens and ensuring compliance in an agile and transparent manner,” Erlemann emphasized.

Spain is preparing the new regulatory framework
Cristina Tapia, head of the Renewable Energy Sub-Directorate at MITECO, provided an update on the processing of the new Royal Decree that will adapt RED III to the national framework. In her presentation, she detailed the following:
