El mapa de los biocombustibles sólidos actualizado en septiembre de 2021 por AVEBIOM muestra de forma gráfica y en tablas las fábricas de pellet, astilla y hueso de aceituna inventariadas en la Península Ibérica en el último año.

En el mapa se puede consultar la producción real de las fábricas de pellet en 2020 y la capacidad de producción de los centros de astilla y de hueso, su ubicación y si la planta está certificada en los sellos de calidad ENplus® o BIOmasud®.

Fábricas de pellets

El mapa actualizado recoge un total de 75 plantas de pellets abiertas durante 2020-2021 en España, 8 menos que en el anterior inventario, realizado en 2020. El número de fábricas con producción certificada ENplus® aumenta en dos y ya son 41 instalaciones las que cuentan con el sello de calidad

Plantas de astilla y hueso de aceituna

En cuanto a las plantas de producción de astilla, AVEBIOM ha inventariado 59 plantas en España, 2 menos que en 2020. Seis centros cierran y dos comienzan a funcionar. Dos productores más se han certificado en BIOmasud® y ya son cinco en todo el país los que ofrecen astilla de calidad. El último inventario de productores de hueso de aceituna recoge un total de 26 fábricas, una más que en el inventario anterior y un certificado BIOmasud® nuevo.
