Las industrias agroalimentarias conocen casos de éxito, expuestos por los que ya han apostado por esta fuente de energía, y tienen la oportunidad de reunirse con profesionales de la bioenergía que les ofrecen soluciones a medida.

Los participantes encuentran soluciones energéticas integrales de ahorro con biomasa, enteramente focalizadas en sus necesidades (generación de vapor de proceso, calor y frío, valorización de subproductos, etc.). Por ejemplo una solución a cómo valorizar biomasa agroalimentaria, que permite reducir los costes operativos al reducir los costes asociados al consumo energético y mejorar la imagen medioambiental.

La gestión del medio ambiente es un factor clave dentro de la gestión global de las empresas agroalimentarias y puede ser determinante para su competitividad. Dentro de los aspectos ambientales más relevantes destacan: el consumo de energía y la producción de subproductos orgánicos.

Celebrada en 22 Octubre como una actividad paralela a Expobiomasa 2014, contó con la colaboración de VITARTIS, la Agrupación Empresarial Innovadora de la Industria Alimentaria de Castilla y León.
