Objetivo del proyecto POSEIDON
El proyecto POSEIDON es una acción de innovación que tiene por objetivo optimizar la producción de metanol sintético renovable (e-metanol) y promover su utilización como combustible renovable para el transporte marítimo. La obtención de e-metanol renovable a partir de la captura del CO2 de origen biogénico de plantas de biogás y de plantas de biomasa es una vía para ofrecer un “bio e-combustible” alternativo.
El proyecto implementará un primer reactor a escala piloto (TRL6) y lo elevará a escala preindustrial (TRL7) utilizando un proceso de alto rendimiento de producción de e-metanol a partir de energía renovable, CO2 e hidrógeno.
El proyecto (2023-2027) está coordinado por el Instituto Europeo de Investigación Energética (EIFER), participando 19 socios de 7 países.
AVEBIOM participa como representante del sector generador de CO2 biogénico, en la comunidad de práctica del Puerto de Valencia, y el los diseños de la cadena de valor.
